The Great Revelin Tower has been the guardian of the Old Town from the 13th century, and is located at the southern entrance. With the sea gate to the west, it was the only way to get into the Old Town. Today, a massive stone staircase leads to the passage through the Tower itself, where in the summer local musicians greet the many tourists who pass by with their songs.

The interior of the Tower is an exhibition space that tells the story of the Korčula knights’ Moreska game, and the top of the Tower is a lookout point. The camera also offers a view of the rotunda on the right. Korculans use it as a marketplace where they sell locally grown vegetables and local produce in the early morning. In addition to the specific layout of the Town’s fishbone streets, the Great Revelin Tower is one of Korcula’s trademarks and one of the most photographed locations.
